Phycobiliproteins in the phycobionts of the stereocaulon species

Abstract:By means of Sephadex-100 chromatography the presence of phycobiliproteins in Stereocaulon (six species) was studied. The following phycobiliproteins were found to be present (exception S. arenarium); C-phycoerythrin, C-phycocyanin and allophycocyanin.
