Abstract: | Aphid cells contain unique RNAs with molecular weights of 1.2 × 106 and 0.6 × 106. These RNAs are larger in amount in the nucleus and labeled rapidly when the insect is injected with [3H] uridine. Seemingly, the 28S and 18S rRNAs are completed at the cost of these RNAs. |
