| Abstract: | Within the next few years, the complete genomic sequences of Plasmodium falciparum, and potentially several other Plasmodium spp, will be available to researchers worldwide. These complete genomic sequence data are certain to provide the foundation for nearly all malaria research in the next decades, as discussed here by Dan Carucci. |
