Abstract: | Simian virus 40 deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) became associated in an alkaline-stable form with the DNA of Chinese hamster embryo cells at 15 to 20 hr post-infection, at the time when cell DNA synthesis and T antigen were induced. The integration process was not inhibited by d-arabinosyl cytosine and was only partially inhibited by cycloheximide. |
