| Abstract: | Moina ephemeralis n.sp. is described from SouthSlovakia. It belongs to the Moinagouldeni-lipini group. Together with Moinamacrocopa (Straus, 1820) it is the second specieswith a 2-egged ephippium from Central Europe. Thespecies was recorded in the plankton of a highlyeutrophic fish pond. |
