Abstract:Sixteen polymorphic microsatellite loci were isolated from an enriched genomic library of Ussuri cisco, Coregonus usssruensi. The polymorphism of these loci was tested on a population of 30 individuals captured from Heilongjiang River. The number of observed alleles per locus ranged from 3 to 18. The expected and observed heterozygosity values ranged from 0.126 to 0.919 and 0.133 to 0.833, respectively. Five loci significantly deviated from Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium after Bonferroni correction. No significant linkage disequilibrium was detected. These polymorphic markers will be used to assess population structure in Ussuri cisco.
