| Abstract: | The adequate parameters for simultaneous determination of more than 10 monoamines, their precursors and metabolites (noradrenaline, 3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenylglycol, 3,4-dihydrooxyphenylglycol++, vanylylmandelic acid, normetanephrine, adrenaline, metanephrine, dopamine, 3-methoxytytramine, 3,4-dihydroxphenylacetic acid, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine, 5-hydroxytryptophane, 5-hydroxyindolacetic acid) by liquid chromatography with electro-chemical detection were suggested for the rat brain and heart. The influence of reserpine, iproniazid, and imipramine on the content of the changes of monoamines and their metabolite levels in the rat brain and heart were also investigated. |
