| Abstract: | Messenger RNA for immunoglobulin light chain K41 from mouse myeloma tumour cell line MOPC41, when injected into living frog oocytes, is translated into a protein resembling light chains. Frog oocytes can therefore translate a messenger RNA for a protein synthesized on membrane-bound polysomes. |
