| Abstract: | AgNO3 (0.1 mg l–1) inhibits the growth of the microalgae, Chlorella vulgaris and ChlorellaVT-1. Glutathione at 0.1 mm added to AgNO3-treated cells eliminated inhibition of growth whereas a glutathione synthesis inhibitor l-S,R-buthionine sulfoximine, failed to affect growth. |
