Abstract: | Morphometry, catalytic (redox potential) activity, and body surface potential of two infective-stage juvenile populations of Neoaplectana carpocapsae, obtained from Sitophilus granarius adults and Galleria mellonella larvae, were compared. The relationship among these three morphological and physiological parameters and the degree of pathogenicity (=infectivity) and incidence of the nematode infection (=extensity) in Achroia grisella caterpillars, Trogoderma granarium larvae, and Tribolium confusum adults was discussed. |
