Abstract:
The major rat brain myelin proteolipid P7 apoprotein has been isolated in pure form by a preparative sodium dodecylsulphate gel electrophoresis system. Automated Edman degradation permitted the establishment of the N-terminal sequence up to the 20th amino acid. The C-terminal sequence was determined by the action of carboxypeptidase A.
