Adenylate cyclase and adrenoreceptors in the myometrium

Data are presented on the content and hormonal regulation of alpha- and beta-adrenoreceptors in myometrium, interrelation of adrenoreceptors with adenylate-cyclase and contractile state of myometrium. Processes in the structure of adenyl-cyclase complex during the enzyme desensitization have been discussed.
