竞争排斥益生菌研究进展

竞争排斥益生菌(competitive exclusion product, CE)是1973年由Nurmi和Rantala提出的用于预防和控制刚出壳鸡沙门氏菌感染的复合益生菌产品,后来渐渐扩展到用于其他肠道病原菌的防控。除了控制病原菌定殖外,CE产品也可以促进生长、提高饲料转化率和降低死亡率等。现欧美等国家也开发出20多种CE产品用于养禽和养猪业。关于竞争排斥益生菌的作用机制尚不清楚,但已经提出了一些假说,如竞争粘附位点或营养、刺激局部免疫反应和产生各种各样的抗菌物质等。由于细菌的抗菌素抗性日益严重,CE产品的应用前景将非常广阔。

Research Progress in Competitive Exclusion Products

The concept of competitive exclusion (CE) was first proposed by Nurmi and Rantala in 1973. They described that introduction of gut contents originating from that adult birds can protect young birds against Salmonella infection. Then CE products were introduced in preventing and controling other pathogenic bacteria in gut. CE products have other functions, such as promoting growth, improving feed conversion ratio and decreasing mortality rates. Now, more than 20 kinds of CE products were developed and used in livestock and poultry raise in Europe and America. Although, the mechanism of this product is not clear now, some hypothesis have been proposed, such as competition of the attach site or nutrition, stimulation of the immunity response and generation of kinds of anti-bacteria products. Because the popular of antibiotic resistance is becoming more serious, CE products will get a very wide application foreground.
