Abstract: | The state of donor deoxyribonucleic acid after entry into competent cells was examined by assaying the transformed cell lysates for donor-marker transforming activity and density of donor deoxyribonucleic acid in CsCl gradients. The experiments showed that deoxyribonucleic acid entered in native, double-stranded form. |
