Abstract: | Results from analyses of 100 families' judgments of 5 to 90 dots suggest that the absolute error in "subtizing" (up to 8 objects) may have a genetic component. "Estimating" larger numbers of items is more complex and, in this study, does not seem to be under genotypic control. |
