| Abstract: | Summary Cells ofAeromonas hydrophila immobilized in polyacrylamide gel were able to metabolize diacetyl to butane 2,3-diol at rates up to 4.1mg/l/h. Immobilized cells were able to metabolize the diketone at all concentrations tested up to 40mg/l. |
