| Abstract: | Cell walls of suspension-cultured spinach cells and sugar beetpulp were separately hydrolyzed with Driselase. A feruloyl arabinobiosewas isolated from both spinach cells and sugar beet. Four feruloyloligosaccharides were obtained from sugar beet. The four oligosaccharideswere characterized by NMR spectroscopy, methylation analysisand FAB-MS.
