Abstract: | Four cases with multiple primary malignant tumors are presented. In all cases, fine needle aspiration (FNA) cytologic findings indicated the presence of more than one primary malignancy. In one case, the cytologic examination simultaneously diagnosed two separate primaries. Since FNA cytology can often be used to identify the tumor type, it can be utilized in the identification of many multiple primary malignancies, as these cases show. |
