| Abstract: | Novel inhibitors of bacterial tyrosyl tRNA synthetase have been synthesised in which the cyclic hydroxylamine moiety of SB-219383 is replaced by C-pyranosyl derivatives. Potent and selective inhibition of bacterial tyrosyl tRNA synthetase was obtained. |
