| Abstract: | 30 cases of biopsies from female condyloma acuminata were examined for HPV(types 6b, 11 and 16) DNA related sequence by hybridization. 20 were positive (67%) .Among these, 19 cases were found to harbor HPV8b DNA homologous sequence (95.0%), 8 cases contained sequence homologous to HPV11 DNA (40.0%), 8 cases were found to have two or three types of HPV DNA. The detection rate of HPV related sequence from cervical swabs appears lower than that from biopsy samples. |
