Distinctive Features of Six-year-olds' Relation to Adult-assigned Tasks |
| |
Abstract: | The age of six marks the transition from preschool to school age in childhood. The child's entire life-style changes, and his relationships with adults change. He assumes tasks that are no longer those of just a member of a family, but of a member of society. The tasks with which he must deal become fundamentally different in nature. |
