Abstract: | Using light and electron microscopy and morphometry, the morphological changes in the lymph nodes of arterial and venous parts of capillaries were studied on the 11th, 17th and 21st days of pregnancy in rats. Ultrastructural changes in endothelial cells of blood vessels in the uterine lymph nodes during normal pregnancy are of adaptive nature and are possibly responsible for the relief of the blood congestion in the system of the inferior vena cava and for the improvement of the utero-placental circulation. |
