| Abstract: | Summary The potential of aqueous two-phase systems for the estimation of molecular weights of proteins and enzyme-inhibitor complexes has been demonstrated. The method is simple and rapid, and employs extremely small amounts of the test sample. It is based on the measurement of the phase transition behaviour on dilution of the system as a function of the molecular weight of the molecule or complex under study. |
