Mutagenicity of some contraceptive drugs in Drosophila melanogaster |

| Abstract: | Combinations of 3 progestins, ethynodiol diacetate, norethynodrel and norgestrel, and 2 oestrogens, ethinyloestradiol and mestranol, were fed to larval Oregon-R fruit flies. None of the steroids studied induced X-linked recessive lethal mutations above the control level in Drosophila melanogaster. |
