| Abstract: | Short-chain 3-fluoro-(dihydro)ceramide analogues are synthesized from L-serine using diethylaminosulfur trifluoride (DAST) as fluorinating agent. The apoptogenic activity of these compounds was measured in three different cell lines and compared with their hydroxylated counterparts. |
