| Abstract: | The muscles of the head, neck and thorax of the adult cabbage looper Trichoplusia ni are described for the first time. They are compared to those of Choristoneura fumiferana, Manduca sexta, Smerinthus geminatus, Antheraea polyphemus, Sphinx convolvuli, Crymodes devastator, and Danaus plexippus. |
