Revision of the New Zealand genus Novothymbris (Homoptera: Cicadellidae) |

| Abstract: | The genus Novothymbris Evans is endemic to New Zealand, and is the only representative in this country of the subfamily Ledrinae. The genus and the known species are redescribed; dunensis (Myers) is synonymised with hinemoa (Myers), and hudsonica (Myers) with maorica (Myers). Eleven new species are described; three species‐groups are indicated. A key to species is given. |
