| Abstract: | Summary The effect of increased pressure on the growth of the bacterium Pseudomonas fluorescens has been investigated in an airlift-fermenter (10 l) up to 8 bars. It could be established, that increased hydrostatic pressure has a strong effect on the metabolism of the bacterium. |
