Abstract: | Summary Male C3H inbred mice and male (101xC3H) F1 hybrids were treated with various caffeine doses over a long period. After the end of treatment the animals were dissected and the metaphase I figures of the cycle of spermatogenesis were analysed. The experiments revealed no distinct evidence for the induction of chromosomal aberrations in the cycle of spermatogenesis caused by caffeine up to metaphase I.This study was supported by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. |
