云南高黎贡山自然保护区白眉长臂猿种群及数量现状初报

经2003~2006年访问和现场调查,表明白眉长臂猿在高黎贡山自然保护区约有15~20群,25~40只。它们主要分布在中山湿性常绿阔叶林。栖息环境的急剧恶化和人类猎捕是造成白眉长臂猿数量下降的两个主要原因。提出应加强白眉长臂猿的栖息地保护和消除生境隔离,加强公众保护宣传教育和加强白眉长臂猿的生态生物学等基础研究。

Population and Quantity of Hoolock Gibbon (Hylobates hoolock) in Gaoligongshan Nature Reserve

There are about 15~20 population,including 25~40 individuals of hoolock gibbon Hylobates hoolock in the Gaoligongshan Nature Reserve according to the interview and investigation.The hoolock gibbon mainly distributes in the mid-mountain humid evergreen broad-leaved forest.The habitat loss and illegal hunting are two reasons making the decline of population and individuals of hoolock gibbon.Finally,authors suggest that following works should be done,including enhancing protection of the habitat and eliminating separation of the habitat,strengthening the public education of conservation and endeavoring to the basic research about ecobiology of hoolock gibbon.
