| Abstract: | The coupling of glycals with an alkynyl iodide bearing a protected amino alcohol moiety was achieved in the presence of metallic indium under Barbier conditions. It gave functionalized C-glycosyl compounds, precursors of C-glycosyl amino acids with α configuration. |
