小圆形病毒样因子引起新生儿急性胃肠炎的研究

33例新生儿急性胃肠炎的粪便标本经EM检测,12份(36.4％)粪便标本中检出了病毒样颗粒,其中11份(33,3％)为SRV样因子(SRV),1份为其他病毒样颗粒。经粪便包埋超薄切片和IEM证实SRV是引起新生儿急性胃肠炎的病原。SRV的直径为26nm,表面结构清晰。在氯化铯(CsCl)中的浮密度为1.36—1.40g/cm~3。应用微量CF试验,5例双份血清中的1例抗体有三倍升高,3例恢复期皿清抗补体,1例为阴性,该病人为其他病毒样颗粒感染。核酸电泳未显带。培养未见细胞病变。5例正常对照新生儿粪便未检出任何病毒样颗粒。

Studies on the Small Round Virus--like Agent of Causing Neonatal Acute Gastroenteritis

Out of 33 neonates with acute gastroenteritis, 12(36.4%) were detected tohave virus-like particles by electron microscopy once agian. The small roundvirus-like agent(SRV)was found in 11(33.3%)samples. In one sample other vi-rus-like particle was found. The SRV was confirmed to cause this neonatalacute gastroenteritis by ultrathin section and immune electron microscopy (IEM).The SRV was measured 26 nm in diameter and showed fine spiky structureon the surface. The buoyant density of SRV was determined to be 1.36--1.40g/cm~3 in CsCl density gradient. Using microtechnique of complement-fixationtest, one out of the 4 pair sera rises three-fold in antibody titer. Three con-valescent se a were found to have anti-complement. One pair serum was ne-gative. The patient was infected by other virus-like particle. No PAGE showedband of nucleic acid. The developmet of cytopathic effect was not observedin all inoculated human embryonic cell tubes. Five faeces from normal neona-tes as control were not found any virus-like particles by EM. We suggest thatit be a new virus of causing neonatal gastroenteritis.
