| Abstract: | Two species of oribatid mites of the genus Nothrus (Oribatida, Nothridae) were collected during an expedition to Taiwan in 2017. The species Nothrus anauniensis Canestrini and Fanzago, 1876 is redescribed and illustrated in detail; the main morphological traits for this species are summarized. A new species Nothrus xuejianensis Ermilov sp. n. is described; it differs from the closest species, Nothrus meakanensis Fujikawa, 1999 by the morphology and length of notogastral setae h2 and number of subcapitular setae m. |
