| Abstract: | Chromosomes have to establish the proper attachment to the spindle before segregation-a process that requires Ipl1p Aurora kinase. Recent work has identified Dam1p, a member of the DASH complex, as the key Ipl1p substrate responsible for kinetochore/microtubule interaction. |
