Abstract:
Summary Mutants of Escherichia coli K-12 resistant to a threonine analogue (-amino--hydroxy valeric acid) were predominantly resistant to ethionine and overproduced both threonine and methionine (2 mg/ml each). Novelty of the mutants is discussed.
