Abstract: | Restriction fragment length polymorphism of human salivary alpha-amylase after cleavage with restriction endonucleases PstI and BamHI was studied in a population from eastern Japan. Among 40 unrelated individuals, the frequencies of the 5.7- and 6.5-kilobasepair fragment alleles were 0.487 and 0.513, respectively. |
