| Abstract: | Summary Undiminished capacities for photosynthetic oxygen evolution and glycollate excretion were obtained over a 6 month period after the immobilization ofChlorella emersonii by entrapment in calcium alginate gel. The activities of enzymes of photosynthesis and glycollate metabolism also remained unchanged over this period. |
