Effect of the dose rate on the synergism of combined ionizing radiation and hyperthermia |

| Abstract: | In experiments with yeast cells it was shown that the synergistic effect of a combination of ionizing radiation and hyperthermia is a function of dose rate. It was demonstrated that the temperature at which radiation is delivered should be elevated to obtain the maximum synergistic effect with the increasing dose rate. |
