Abstract: | The ApoD cDNA coding for murine apolipoprotein D (ApoD) was cloned from a mammary gland library and sequenced. The nucleotide sequence and encoded mature protein are highly homologous to those of rabbit and human. Interestingly, unlike in other species, ApoD RNA is not found in spleen, liver, pancreas or kidney. |
