| Abstract: | Based on polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and sequencing of the cloned amplified fragments, we identified a homologous sequence to the histo-blood group ABH genes and alpha 1----3 galactosyltransferase pseudogene. The presence of this sequence in human genomic DNA was confirmed by Southern hybridization. |
