| Abstract: | The presence of a circulating eosinopoietic factor was investigated by using the mother-embryo system. Eosinopoiesis was induced in the mother and the response evaluated in the fetal liver. The level of eosinophils in the livers of the fetuses from treated mothers was three times that from untreated mothers. The influence of a humoral factor on the eosinopoiesis in the fetal liver is discussed. |
