| Abstract: | The effects of toxicants on naturally stable two-species communities are studied. Persistence-extinction thresholds are given for populations in the toxicant stressed Lotka-Volterra model of two interacting species. The threshold results are expressed in terms of relationships involving the population intrinsic growth rates, dose-response parameters, and interaction rates.Research supported by the fund of Chinese Natural Science |
