Abstract: | Cyanogen bromide and tryptic fragments of penicilloylated serum albumin from penicillin-treated patients were separated by HPLC. Determinations of benzylpenicilloyl (BPO) were performed on the different fractions. A BPO containing peptide was identified by its amino acid sequence and the bound BPO group was located on the lysine residue 199. |
