Abstract: | Biosensors will have an impact on people's daily lives in the not too distant future, since they can fill very real needs in health care, environmental monitoring and control, agriculture and chemical industries. Several companies throughout the world, notably in Japan, have focused on application-oriented product development. Japan is expected to become the world leader in commercialization of biosensors. |
