Abstract: | The genus Simoedosaurus, whose distinction from Champsosaurus has recently been proven in Europe, exists also in the Clarkforkian of North America: four specimens in the Collection of Princeton University provide the evidence. This genus can be added to the already long list of forms common to the two continents at the beginning of the Eocene, which attests to the ease of migration from one to the other at this time. |
