Sulfurtransferase activity in cultured neuronal clone cells] |

| Abstract: | The activity of 3'-phosphoadenosine-5'-phosphosulfate : galactocerebroside sulphotransferase (PAPS - CST, EC 2.8.2.11), which catalyzes the synthesis of sulphatides, was measured in cloned cells (NIE 115) derived from mouse neuroblastoma C-1300. This activity was of the same order of magnitude as that observed in adult mouse brain. The cell density had no effect on the specific activity of the PAPS-CST. |
