Abstract: | Hypocotyl explants of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) producedcallus when grown in Murashige and Skoog medium with 0.5 or1.0 µM benzyladenine and 1.5 or 5.0 µm 2, 4-D. Somaticembryos and adventitious buds were formed when callus was transferredto medium without growth regulators. Flowers that were formedin vitro were either staminate or pistillate.
