| Abstract: | We isolated a rice cDNA clone (T151) which encodes an open reading frame of 262 amino acids. This clone is similar to the S-phase-specific cyc07 gene of Catharanthus roseus. Expression of this gene is much higher in callus than in seedlings and regulated by external stresses such as high osmotic pressure, salinity, low temperature and submergence. |
