| Abstract: | 1. The content of glutathione and glutathione disulfide and the activity of the glutathione S-transferase were determined in the liver of pike and rat. 2. It was found that the liver of pike contains far less glutathione than the liver of rats, while the glutathione disulfide content was similar in both species. 3. The activity of the hepatic glutathione S-transferase was more effective in pike than in rats. |
