| Abstract: | A new group of radioprotective agents, dimethylaminodithiazines, was discovered. The agents are effective when used in relatively small amounts and exert a radioprotective effect rapidly with both intraperitoneal and per os injections. The role of inhibition of oxidative processes and DNA biosynthesis in the mechanism of radioprotective action of dimethylaminodithiazines is discussed. |
